Beauty: Cleaning my makeup brush

Bismillahirahmanirahim..

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !
This is just a randomly post for tonight. Hahaa.. I was planning to cleaning and wash my makeup brushes just now. It is been a month I din't wash it!! OMG! The worst me ever. But I don't really wear makeup often lately because I normally just sit back and relax at home. I don't wear any makeup at home. *I do look like an alien at home tho.. Hahahaa.. Anyway, this idea suddenly came up on my mind to write about this. So here some update details on how I clean my makeup brush. I know last 2 years ago I made some post about How I clean my makeup brushes HERE . And bow, I want to share my current update to clean makeup brush... Heee... It is basically the same but I add some new methods. WINK!

I just choose any bowl. Big bowl so it can fits all this brushes and sponge I have. I soak all the brush with Daiso Detergent that mix with water. I leave all the brushes soak into the bowl for about 15-20 minutes.

By the time I leave them the color of the water already change. It shows that the dirts and impurities from the brush already came out. Walahhh~ *macam warna air bandung dah.. Heeeee.. After that I rinse all the brushes with clear water one by one with care. Including the beauty sponge and beauty blender. Ohh! I forgot to make a review about my beauty blender. Will coming up soon. Stay tuned!

After that, I take the same bowl fill in with water then I choose shampoo as to help for deep clean the brushes. As for me I'm using the L'oreal Mythic Oil Shampoo. You can pick any shampoo will do. I used this shampoo because I'm not using this for my hair since I'm currently suing another shampoo. So, as not to be wasted. I can used this shampoo as specifics for my brushes. Woohooo~

The same step I did earlier. I soak all the brushes and sponges into the bowl. kacau-kacau sikit. Mix them together gitew.. Let them for about 15-20 minutes as well. Or up to you.. If you think it already clean you can just clean them up!

What I do next is, I take each of the brushes one by one and I swirls it up on my palm slowly with round-motion over and over again. until you can see it is clean.

Then rinse it with water, Makesure you rinse the brush facing downards to the water not upwards as to ensure the bristle stay put and not damage. Handle with care.

And, WALAHHH~ Its done!
Just pick any towels and wait for it to dry. By the next morning they will dry. So it is advice for us to wash the brushes during the night time because you may want to used the brushes on the next morning right. Thats all from me. I hope this post will help you a little bit. I just showing you my current or updated post on How I clean and wash my makeup brushes.
Hope you like it. All pictures were only taken using my phone camera. Lalalalalalaaa~
GOOD NIGHT! Sweet dream :*

Till then, xoxo

Thank you for reading this ^_^

  5. I love that Daiso brush cleaner! HG for sure! Sampai mata terbeliak pertama kali guna untuk basuh sponge.
By the way, I would like to echo what umi hakimah said. Allowing your brushes to sit in the water will loosen up the glue that holds the ferrule, the handle and the bristles together. Especially if you frequently wash your brushes... It has happened to me before! T.T
