 Perniagaan Bahulu Arang

As our last destination, we went to Perniagaan Bahulu Arang located at Jalan Pahang, Kuala Lumpur. This business owned by bumiputera owner and is a Muslim product since October 2018. Kuih Bahulu is a popular traditional kuih/snack in Malaysia where it is usually fluffy and soft.

What so special about this Bahulu Arang then any regular bahulu in market??
Bahulu Arang making their kuih bahulu using traditional methods that is the use of charcoal in lieu of ovens is a powerful element used in the burning and production of baulu as well as the use of sand in the process of baking baulu.

They bring the traditional style of makin kuih bahulu

In addition, the recipe and the resulting mixture is a baulu recipe from the 60's.They has its own unique way of making kuih bahulu because they have over 200 units of copper mold made of copper consisting of over 70 types of mold. woww!

Perniagaan Bahulu Arang  have been collecting the copper mold of bahulu from all over the country and some over 70 years old. These molds have been collected for over 3 years!

Perniagaan Bahulu Arang is the only place that selling bahulu that really baked using charcoal In Kuala Lumpur. This is actually pretty rare because nowadays, most people will baked it in the oven. This what makes Peniagaan Bahulu Arang special!

You can taste the original taste of kuih Bahulu at Perniagaan Bahulu Arang. If you live near by KL area, they also available in foopanda and grabfood!

Feel free to come over at Perniagaan Bahulu Arang when you at Kuala Lumpur. This can be of interest and mengenang nostalgia of our nenek moyang dulu-dulu
