December Favorites | 2017

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !

It's a new month in a new year. Of course I couldn't miss my monthly favorite post as I promise to keep on update on what products I find the best for me or I just discover every month. Basically these are the product that catch my attention on the month of December. Some products I've use it for a few month and I notice it works on me last month. There also products that I just recently try it and love it right away. So without any further due, Let's begin~

Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Moisturiser, Aiken Tea tree Oil 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil, and Caroline Hydrating Serum (oily)

Aiken Tea Tree Oil Spot Away Moisturiser: The texture is good for my skin type which oily-combination. It absorb pretty well and I don't feel any stickiness after apply it on my skin. The scent pretty nice too. This is my day time moisturizer that I apply everyday. I'm glad that this moisturizer suitable for my skin as it is really hard to find a moisturizer fit me well. I've been using this for almost 2 months (or maybe more) and I realize I used it half-bottle already. So I decided to put this on my December favorites. Will I repurchase this? YES! and it is super affordable it just that it sold out very fast. So depends on luck to get it.

Aiken Tea tree Oil 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil: Tea tree is popular for acne-prone skin and that's why I try this pure tea tree oil from Aiken. I normally apply this night time after my night-moisturizer. I do find that my whiteheads and small pimple get away but it takes time for trouble acne/pimple. But I keep on apply this tea tree oil every night on the problem parts. I get this along with the moisturizer as I read a lot of articles that claim tea tree oil is good for acne-prone skin.

Caroline Hydrating Serum (oily): This serum works wonder on my skin. I love the texture that thick yet it is absorb well on my skin. It is a bit sticky during application but once it is absorb, your skin will feel comfortable right away. No sticky feel and no weird scent too. I only apply this serum at night time and my skin do feel supple and moisturize.  This brand may not popular but it is well-known among dermatologist/clinic as they provide premium skin care range. So I feel secure using this serum and as you can see in the bottle, it is almost finish. Ngeee~

Clinelle Whiten Up Brightening Spot Corrector Essence, Shekku New Face Duo Stick, and Shekku Chu Chu Tone Up Sun Stick

Clinelle Whiten Up Brightening Spot Corrector Essence: A spot corrector that come in essence form which texture almost similar to serum but it is essence. It can help to lighten dark spot and scar but it takes time for that. I like the formulation that is rich yet easily absorb onto my skin. This Clinelle Whiten Up series is reach with great organic ingredients that helps to brighten and lighten you skin. What I like about Clinelle brand, they only use organic ingredients which is good for my sensitive skin.

Shekku New Face Duo Stick: This is my first time trying Blackhead remover in stick form. This kinda blackhead remover stick is quite popular at South Korea. Glad that I get a chance to try Shekku New Face Duo Stick. What special about this stick because it has the other side where it has ice pore stick which you apply after you remover the blackhead as to soothe the pore. Overall, this duo stick keep my nose area clean and feel smooth.

Shekku Chu Chu Tone Up Sun Stick: I used this for daily wear in the morning right after moisturizer. At the begining I only want to give it a try and see how good this thing really are but after a few days of using it, I'm kinda like it. It helps to keep my skin tone balance and bright up a little bit. But I guess it works on me because I'm only stay indoor. If I tend to stay outdoor a lot this might get greasy a little bit. Overall, I can describe that this stick more like CC cream that helps to even-out your skin tone and suitable for daily used.

COC Single Eye Shadow (Paprika), Silkygirl 3D Brow & Nose Shadow and Elianto Absolutely Resistance Liquid Eyeliner

COC Single Eye Shadow - Paprika: I get this last 2 month of I'm not mistaken. I'm not a type of person who love single eyeshadow as I prefer to get eyeshadow palette instead but one day I realize that I need a single eyeshadow that easy to bring along during travel. I browse Althea website and I found this cute single eyeshaodw and that time the price has good deal I try the code paprika. It is like a maroon mauve with shimmer finish. I like it because it has soft-texture with quite good pigmentation of color. I normally will use this own it own and it can create a sweet eye-look.

Silkygirl 3D Brow & Nose Shadow: Shout out to this best DUO! It is actually a brow shadow but I find this works amazing for almost everything. I used this as an eyeshadow, contouring, and brow . I find that the color is very versatile where you can use it for different thing. The color in this duo is like meant to be for me. I definitely will purchase this again if I'm running out of stock. It also travel friendly as it come in a mini compact size. Such a good product for me.

Elianto Absolutely Resistance Liquid Eyeliner- Black: I bought this a few month ago (I guess early this year maybe) and I get a chance to use it last month. OMG I love it! I love this eyeliner formulation for daily use. Because it is easy to be remove especially when I want to solat. It also easy to be apply as the tip of the applicator quite convenient to use. This eyeliner is water resistance but not waterproof.

Tarte Tarteis Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint (Killin'it  and Obsessed) and Althea Petal Velvet Powder

Tarte Tarteis Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint - Killin'it  and Obsessed: Last month, I was really into this two Liquid lipstick from Tarte in Killlin' it and Obsessed. This is the two color I reach the most last month. But I must say that this Tarte Tarteis Lip Pant is amazing as it is full coverage with lightweight texture. I think the formulation works wonder. When I apply it, it is almost like water-feel yet it have good coverage and the color is pay off. It dry pretty quick too. It have matte finish but comfortable on lips. #serioustalk. As for Killin' the color is like warm plum and Obsessed is more like deep rose.

Althea Petal Velvet Powder: I finally realize that I love this powder last month because I tend to grab this along with me during travel. Maybe the small and compact packaging and the puff also helps asyou can see the color of the puff change to my foundation color (original was white). I like the super-fine texture. I rarely bring along loose powder with me during travel because I'm afraid that it will mess my makeup bag as it will spill but this powder is secure to bring along. Fuhh~

Well, This basically wrap up my December 2017 Favorites. A new year and I probably going to try more product (I guess). I hope it is not too late for me to wish a very Happy New Year!
