Sabah Travelgoue: [Day 3] Lokan/Lukan Panggang at Gerai Sudi Mampir #foodies

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !

Have you heard of LUKAN before??

So, by the time I heard about this I directly google it and I found out it is actually a seashell food like kerang, lala dan so on. Once I saw it I was not that excited. So, my brother's friend suggest us one place to try this seashell food. The Place known as the original place to serve Lukan/Lokan which is Gerai Sudi Mampir. I don't know the exact location of this stall but you can 'waze' it. It just a regular kedai-kedai tepi jalan (street stall).

You can find this banner. By the time I arrive, I was like.. Ooooo.. Macam ni je tempat dia. Very simple and classic kampung2 style. Cool!

++While waiting for the Lukan to be grill. We order Kelapa Bakar drinks. The price is about RM4.00++ each *didn't remember..

To be honest, not my thing! I don't really like the taste but my family all love it. I prefer the original taste of Air Kepala. Jyeahhhh~

Okay! This is DA BOOMMM!!

Sedappppp. Dadih Jelly Kelapa dorang lain sikit yet so damn good! it come in 2 different size. The one is they made from in the coconut shell itself and the other one in a cup as shown in the picture. The price is RM4.00/cup

Lukan Panggang 😋

Price: RM20.00++/set (depends on size of the lukan)

So, that day. we only get 2 sets of lukan. and tak cukup. Next time, I better take 1 set per person. Hahhahaa... I can't get enough with it.

Here come the climax part, I'm a type of person who don't really eat Seashell food (makanan laut bercengkerang) I'm not even a fan of kerang, lala and what so ever but this Lukan WIN my heart!

 I will definitely repeat this again when I come to Sabah next time. Sooooooo Good!

I'd love to recommend you to try Lokan/Lukan Panggang when you here at Sabah. Sabaham people might get enough with it but we should try this. Trust me! Hihihiii..
