Lombok Travelogue: [DAY 2] Ghost Villa @ Villa Hantu, Lombok | Part 1

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !

On the second day at Lombok, we go to a few different places that on our list which is a-must-go-place-at-Lombok.
Our first activity after check-out from Puri Senggigi Hotel is we stop-by at Villa Hantu @ Ghost Villa. This place is popular because of the view !

We're Having breakfast at Puri Senggigi Hotel before we check-out and start our activity for the second day. The breakfast is simple ever. they only serve a minimal food variation. I think about 2-3 different menu only. We ate it anyway for our energy. Heheee..

 Villa Hantu

Ghost Villa ni located not far from Senggigi, it is located side of main road of Senggigi, Lombok Utara.  So before we proceed our Journey to the Senaru Waterfall, we stop by at Villa Hantu @ Ghost Villa. It is actually an abandon Villa that belongs to an Australia citizen and the construction cannot be proceed so the villa is abandon for years (I googled this. hehee..).

On the first time I search about this place I wonder why people say you have to go to this Villa Hantu. "What so special in the Villa Hantu? Is there any fun activity there? Or Rumah Hantu macam dekat fun fair ke?? Hahhaa.." The moment I arrived at the place I know why, it is because of the view!! The Villa attracted tourist because of the beautiful view!!

There is no entry fee at Villa Hantu because it is not an official attractive place. Open for everyone and advice-able if you have the local people go along with you because you don't know much about the place. It might be tempat keras or not. I also not sure about it. Hehehee.. Bismillah~

We're here!
Can you see the buloh-buloh (bamboo) on the left side of the picture? That is actually the stairs for you to climb up on top of the building. Not that high but the stairs quite scary tho. Since I'm not that ringan I'm afraid that I'll be the last person to climb this stairs. Hahahhaaa. But Alhamdulillah it safe! I didn't snap a close-up picture of the stair but I swear the stairs quite scary and shaky tooo! Hahahaa..

This view is capture at the top of the Ghost Villa

What an amazing view !

A must capture photo~

Group Hugs
View on another side of the Villa. You can see a few abandon building as well but check out the view.

Selfie with the beautiful view ~

I'm actually curious why they call this place Villa Hantu and I found one site that telling the story behind the place. It starts when a young lady who get pregnant and not married (means the baby is illegal or so called as anak haram) they throw the babies with the womb at the Villa!! Awhhh.. poor little things.  That's why they name the place Villa Hantu. Scary and sad at the same time. I'm not sure how many percent that we can trust the story either it is true or not. Just a little sharing.

However, I don't want to highlight about the story behind the the Villa Hantu I want to highlight the amazing view that you get to see from up this Villa Hantu. Wuuuuuu~

Next stop is Sanaru Waterfall, one of my favorite place ever at Lombok. Wait for the story yahhh~

Till then, xoxo
