Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation | review

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !

Trying out different type of foundation is currently becoming my habit. I don't know why but I'm excited to explore more foundation these days especially the drugstore brand. Last few months, I got to try NEW Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation. With the slogan "We got you covered", the NEW Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation claims to be a matte finish foundation with medium coverage. Tempting right!

What makes me excited about this foundation is because it claims to be a sweat-proof foundation! *jaw drop! I'm really looking for foundation that sweat-proof and give great coverage. This just catches my attention because I sweat a lot! Not only that, Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation has the soft-focus powders create a blurring effect and help to reduce the appearance of fine lines

It is comes with oil-free formula and gives a seamless coverage. Lifeproof Foundation contains a combination of soft-focus powder and silica it in so it can creates a blurring effect and help to reduce the appearance of fine lines. 

I love the packaging of Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation because it comes in a black tube type which is travel-friendly! Suitable for on-the-go-girl (like me. Heee..).  Where you don’t have to worry about the packaging will break or heavy in your makeup bag. The plastic-tube type definitely another good reason why this foundation in my makeup bag.

Shades: The best match for my skin tone is LP04 light medium with yellow undertone. It matches normal Malay Medium skin tone. The shades selection is pretty easy to select as it categorize the range shades like Fair, Medium, Dark and under this range they also divided according to your undertone like pink-undertone, yellow-undertone and others. This foundation comes with 24 differetn shades if I'm not mistaken. 

Texture: It has lightweight texture and easy to blend. Doesn't feel cakey or heavy when apply it. Thanks to the oil-free formula I guess. It blends pretty easily and seamless coverage with one application. This foundation also leaves a silky velvet appearance. Means, it doesn't look like you're wearing any foundation something like that. The formulation of this foundation ensures that it balances the levels of moisture thus, it won't make your skin dry up after application. 

The coverage of Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation

Coverage: As you can see from the picture above, surprisingly it gives a pretty good coverage. I could say medium coverage but buildable to high coverage. It covers my blemishes pretty well. It contains a combination of soft-focus powder & silica that creates a "blurring effect" after application. It also allows skin to glow and healthy looking, not drying! This is important, as sometimes, we apply foundation it gets drying but not Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation. It is infused with liquorice extract that helps to brighten tired & dull skin and evens out skin tone 

Finishing/ Longevity: The finishing of this foundation is semi-matte, where I still set it with powder. It could last about 4-6 hours depending on the weather I guess. Last time I wear it on my travel to Singapore it only last for 3-4 hours maybe because of the weather to hot and I sweating toooo much!. But normally it can last up to 6 hours on my daily or indoor activity. This foundation claims to be sweat-proof; I think this one really depends on the technique application as well. I don't know how to explain, but sometimes it does that but sometimes it doesn't. Hahahaa.. 

Overall, I'm would say that Sleek Makeup Lifeproof Foundation probably among best foundation I've try so far (but not on the top yet. Hehehee). The coverage pretty good and the lightweight texture impressed me as I don't feel like wearing a heavy makeup when I'm using this foundation. Thumb up! I'm not sure about the blurring effect or whats not because you still need to well prep your skin to make it long lasting even more. Good skin prep will make the foundation even better. I guess this apply to any type of foundation. Hehehee.. I hope you find my review helpful!
