Etude House Wine Party Eyeshadow | review

Assalammualaikum and Hello everyone !

I get my hands on this Etude House Wine Party Eyeshadow Palette last year and I think this is among my favorite eyeshadow palette in my collection. Thanks again to Althea.Kr for introducing me with good products from Korea.

Etude House Wine Party Eyeshadow Palette is a palette that comes in deep and rich of wine colors. Well, I’m not really sure how wine looks like (because I never drink wine before. Huhuhuu) but I saw a picture of wine, so I can guess what this eyeshadow all about. From the color combination in this palette I know that I’m going to like this palette right away.

In term of the packaging I can say that it is sleek and compact for a palette of eyeshadow. The size is pretty good for travel too. Well, it’s not that mini compact but that that huge either.

It has mirror and the applicator which a mini dual-ended applicator but I couldn’t find where my applicator because I normally will use eyeshadow brushes instead. NGEEE..

You can find the name of each color at the back of the palette so you don’t get confuse. But for me, I think it is better if they can write it down below of each shade rather than I have to keep on check back of the palette right.

Etude house Play Color Eyes Wine Party consist of 10 color eyeshadow where each shade is 1 gram. I just can't help to stare at the beautiful color in this palette where it reflect a rich and deep burgundy with hint of gold to it. For this palette, I can create several different eye look from sweet makeup look to vogue makeup look.

Then I swatch each color I’m pretty impressed with the pigmentation. From matte, shimmer and glitter you can get this this eyeshadow. As you can see the picture each color is vividly pretty with hint of plum, burgundy, pink and brown.

Here the close up swatches for each shade

Camembert Brie: describe as a white-pink tone base color to refine eye tone. It comes in matte texture best for set your eye base and brown bone highlight.

The Last Leaf: is a dark brown with a little bit of pinky touch because it consists of a dark brown base and pink pearl. I think this shade available for single shadow at Etude House.

Oak Barrel: is brown color with matte finish. The brown is like a must have brown color in any eyeshadow palette as it is best for contouring eye area.

Wine Cork: is a neutral brown beige that best every skin tones. Can be use for eye base and it have matte finish.

Rosé Sparkling Holic: has glitter-base shimmery that full of gold and pink pearl. This color make this palette looks exclusive due to the pinky pinky gold to it.

Marathon: describe as indie pink shade of clear pink brown base and shimmery gold and pink pearl. This color available in single eyeshadow.

Wine Burgundy: describe as a deep burgundy shade that reflects well matured red wine (although I don’t know how the matured red wine color looks like. Muehehehee). It have shimmery texture and you also can get this as single eyeshadow.

Soulmate: this color show like a soft burgundy color and describe as a dried rose leaves . This a matte finish shadow and it also  available in single shadow.

Dress Code Bling: is a kinda exclusive color I bet because glitter that make your eye goes bling-bling. I love the sparkly gold glitter of this color and pigmentation was good.

Bordeaux Wine: is shade of purple that best for crease color. I love this color and i can use it as intensity for gradient of burgundy. This is matte texture by the way.

For eyeshadow from Korean, I can say the pigmentation quite good. Because normally Korean loves a shimmer and light pigmentation but this palette is better than what Korean Eyeshadow usually like.

Here how the Eyeshadow looks like on me. I play around with a lot of burgundy color and I apply Dress Code Bling at the center part. I love this look and I also get a lot of compliment of my eye makeup.

Here the makeup look that I do in the car. Pretty nice right *puji diri sendiri. Huhuhuu..

Overall, I like the palette. Every color in this palette pretty and all color can be use by Malaysian Asian skin. If you're a Korean Beauty hardcore fan this might be a good choice for you but if you're someone that normally use a western style makeup you might find another palette that worth but for my personal opinion I love this palette. I love every color and so far I don't find any color that I don't like because all color quite useful to play around. I bet this palette will go even wonderful for those who have fair skin as the color will show more intense. I love the wine party vibe they show in this palette that also show through each color in this palette. You can check out Althea Kr to get this palette

Till then, xoxo
